Red Horn

What a fascinating sailing trip I had this past weekend sailing our boat from north of the Tappan Zee, down the Hudson River to Sandy Hook. Some scenes just waiting to become watercolors!

Sky Study

Something different. I'd like to do some more of these, the sky is not something I generally spend alot of time on in my paintings.

Pansies

So many flowers to paint! How will I ever find the time?!

Daffodil

From a group of great photos taken this weekend in Cape May. Ya gotta love daffodils!

Diana and Her Hound

Another challenge from the Different Strokes from Different Folks site. I must give credit where credit is due..my fiancee drew this, I painted it. A collaboration!
I saw this arrangement while sitting at my kitchen table one night and was inspired to paint it.
I did this for the April monthly group photo project for Watercolor Workshop.

Magnolias

What a busy time. I found it necessary to take a few days off posting my daily paintings, in fact, from painting almost entirely. I've returned to my job, so I needed to get into a new routine. My first week of full time work is finished, so I can see I can find time to paint again, it will just a bit more challenging than when I was a woman of leisure. Ive been working on this painting in small bits of time, and have decided I need to move on.

See No Evil

Crocuses

I've been on vacation. So may have some southwest desert scenes to try in the future. In the meantime, these crocuses have bloomed by my front door while I was gone.
